Question: Is this 1972 Bhagavad Gita As It Is the true first Collier-McMillan edition or the later McMillan only edition?

 Answer: This is an exact replica of the original Compete Edition of Srila Prabhupada\'s Bhagavad-gita As It Is that was originally published in 1972. There was a cut-down 400 page abridged edition printed by Collier Macmillan in 1968. But this was not liked by Srila Prabhupada as they published it without his transcendental purports for many of the verses. So this is the original 1000 page complete editon of Srila Prabhupada\'s Bhagavad-gita As It Is.

Question: How many pages

 Answer: It has 1000 pages plus 48 color plates. Same as Prabhupada\'s original 1972 Macmillan complete edition.
